Dr. Dennis Deruelle is a nationally recognized physician executive, policy advisor, and healthcare innovator dedicated to reshaping the future of medicine. A board-certified internist and Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Deruelle has spent more than two decades leading transformational change across hospital systems, startups, and national health initiatives.

After earning his medical degree and completing residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident—Dr. Deruelle quickly emerged as a leader at the intersection of hospital medicine, health policy, and innovation. As National Medical Director and VP at TeamHealth, he launched and led a $120 million bundled payment program that achieved a 14% average savings rate, and drove performance turnarounds across more than 150 practice sites.
